Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Where: Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
What: Experience the Columbus Zoo in a whole new light (or, rather, a whole new set of lights)! The light shows run weekdays and weekends, though weekends can be pretty crowded.

Columbus Winter Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show
When: Sunday, Dec 1, 10am – 4pm
Where: Makoy Event Center, Hilliard
What: Kick start your holiday shopping while supporting local businesses and artisans at the Winter Avant-Garde Art Show! Browse beautiful handmade items and enjoy a full concessions stand. A portion of proceeds benefit local nonprofit Hope Hollow.

Holiday Bazaar & Short North Tree Lighting
When: Sunday, Dec 1, 11am – 6pm
Where: Short North Arts District
What: Shopping, dining, entertainment, art, live performers, and beautiful decorations bring the Short North district to live with holiday spirit in a day full of fun and festivity. The Deck the District Tree Lighting starts at 5pm.

Christmas in Downtown Delaware
When: Friday, Dec 6 – Sunday, Dec 8
Where: Downtown Delaware
What: This full weekend of festivities kicks off with the Tree Lighting Ceremony (with live music) on Friday at 6pm. Saturday continues with a Dash for Dasher scavenger hunt, while downtown businesses offer special and refreshments. The Santa House will be open at the Strand Theatre, and the Christmas Parade closes off the event at 3pm on Sunday.

Grove City Christmas Celebration, Parade & Mistletoe Market
When: Saturday, Dec 7, 10am – 8pm
Where: Grove City
What: Live music, caroling, reindeer, ice sculpting, visits with Santa, a festive parade, and the official Grove City Tree Lighting—it’s a full day of festive fun. The Mistletoe Market happens simultaneously at the Grove City Town Center.

Winterfest 2019 / Lights at the Scioto Mile
When: Saturday, Dec 7, 11am – 4pm
Where: Bicentennial Park, Downtown Columbus
What: The annual WinterFest is a Columbus tradition packed full of entertainment and fun—including several live bands, food trucks, on-tap brews, and beautiful light shows. You can catch the light show (Lights at the Scioto Mile) nights starting November 21 and running through January 2.

Christmas on the Towne
When: Saturday, Dec 7, 10am – 3pm
Where: Olde Towne Reynoldsburg
What: Shop specials and giveaways at local businesses, visit with Santa, or take a carriage ride through Olde Reynoldsburg… and maybe try a few tasty samples offered throughout the day. Be sure to stick around for the Lighting Ceremony and Parade!
